7450HC

7450HC by Total Refining and Chemicals is a polypropylene (PP) random copolymer grade. It is formulated with high level of antiblock additive for improved film handling and low catalyst residuals in this grade result in improved color stability. The random copolymer structure of this grade improves its clarity and impact resistance over conventional homopolymer films and reduced melting point in this makes it suitable as a heat seal layer for oriented films. Is suitable for processing by extrusion- and injection molding. 7450HC is recommended for use in either non-oriented cast film processes for manufacture of packaging films that require improved optical and impact properties or as a heat seal layer for oriented films. Applications include housewares, health and personal care. Is a FDA compliant grade.
