940E is a super high impact polystyrene (PS) grade. Offers high gloss, toughness and shows high stiffness. Designed for high gloss sheet extrusion and thermoforming applications that require additional toughness. Applications include cups, food packaging, appliances, food and beverage packaging, white goods, disposable, custom sheet, compounds and masterbatches, coextrusion-, specialty injection appliance- and electronic applications. Is a FDA 21 CFR § 177.1640 and UL94HB E55470 compliant grade.
