VICTREX® PEEK 450CA40 by Victrex is a semi-crystalline, black colored high performance polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade reinforced with 40% carbon fiber. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Exhibits low flow, excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Provides excellent strength, stiffness and excellent dimensional stability in high temperature and harsh environments. Offers chemical resistance, insolubility in solvents like acids, salts & oil, low outgassing, low particle generation and inherent purity for reduced contamination. It is easy to process and lightweight compared to steel, aluminum and titanium. VICTREX® PEEK 450CA40 complies with FDA.
