R 940D

R 940D by Videolar is a milky white colored, odorless, water insoluble, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets. It is obtained from the styrene monomer, added to 5% up to 15% of polybutadiene. Exhibits stretching capacity, high rigidity, excellent mechanical properties, impact and high stress cracking (ESCR) resistance. Can be processed by extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding. Recommended for refrigerator doors & inner liner and fatty foods packaging such as margarine. Complies with the requirements of ANVISA 105/99 (Brazil) & GMC (Mercosur), U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and EU 10/2011 (European Union) regulations for use in contact with food. R 940D fulfills the requirements of UL 94 under File Number E220962.
