SR 550

SR 550 by Videolar is a milky white colored, high flow, odorless, water insoluble, high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade available in the form of pellets. It is obtained from the styrene monomer, added to 5% up to 15% of polybutadiene. Exhibits stretching capacity, good mechanical properties and impact resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for toys, furniture components and building applications. Complies with the requirements of ANVISA 105/99 (Brazil) & GMC (Mercosur), U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 and EU 10/2011 (European Union) regulations for use in contact with food. SR 550 fulfills the requirements of UL 94 under File Number E220962.
