EBAC® SP1802 by Westlake Chemical is a soft, flexible, plasticizers free ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) copolymer grade with 22.5% butyl acrylate (BA). Exhibits good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent thermal stability, excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EBAC® SP1802 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by blown film extrusion, compounding and co-extrusion. Recommended for films, fexible packaging, disposable gloves, IV containers and wound care applications.
