Polyolefin elastomer as impact modifier for polyolefins

Polyolefin elastomers (POE) can be added to PP resulting in a significant increase of the notched izod impact strength without affecting optical properties. In the case of LLDPE films, there is a dramatic increase in tear resistance by addition of POE.
