LED lights are a well established fixture in general lighting applications, and there is a growing demand for heat management. However, optimizing the utility of LEDs while looking to find savings can be a difficult challenge.

Momentum is building to replace aluminum with heat-conducting thermoplastics in fixed and mobile applications. Because of the restrictions that are caused by metals, most people are not utilizing the full potential of LED Lighting.

The Benefits of Replacing Metals.

Here are a few ways your products will benefit when you capitalize on all that LED lighting has to offer:

  • Reduced energy consumption
  • Increased design flexibility and attractiveness
  • More powerful lights

Anne Hippert Presented By:

Length: 60 min

Why should you view this webinar?

Attend this webinar to learn more about how specialty polymers can be used to manage heat in LED lighting and other applications, and to simplify the manufacturing of these applications.

Our presenters will discuss the challenges of these applications, and discuss successful metal-to-plastic transitions that have helped manufacturers improve their products and their ultimate cost per part.

Who should view this webinar?

  • Designers & engineers involved in the lighting industry
  • Manufacturers of applications in which heat must be managed
  • Plastics processors who want to learn more about managing heat with specialty polymers
