The organizers of 34th CHINAPLAS have announced that the show cannot be held as scheduled from 3 to 6 August 2020 and will be further postponed to 13 to 16 April 2021. The show venue will also be changed from National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai to Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Shenzhen.

Directions to Stop All Exhibitions Due to Covid-19

The announcement is made keeping in mind The State Council of China’s circular of “The Further Control and Preventive Measures of the Novel Coronavirus at Key Venues, Units and Groups”. According to “Preventive Suggestions” in the circular, it has mentioned that all kinds of exhibitions have to be stopped for the time being.

The show organizers of CHINAPLAS have put the safety and health of all show participants as their top priority. Necessary arrangements regarding the participation or admission fee paid by exhibitors and visitors will be made and notified soon.

Next April a Better Timing to have Quality Exchange

The organizers believe that next April will be better timing for participants from around the world to have a quality exchange. Exhibitors will also be more prepared in supporting the new market demands brought about by market recovery.

As an important manufacturing and R&D center for innovative technology in China, Shenzhen has been chosen by the Chinese government as one of the driving engines in the future development of the Greater Bay Area. In shifting the 34th CHINAPLAS to Shenzhen, it will enable global plastics and rubber suppliers to tap into the emerging business opportunities in tandem with the further opening up of the China market.
