NISSEI PLASTIC Merges Its US Sales and Production Bases in Texas

nissei-plastic-im-machine NISSEI PLASTIC has merged its US sales subsidiary NISSEI AMERICA (California) and production subsidiary NISSEI PLASTIC MACHINERY AMERICA (Texas) to enhance their global production and sales structures. The all-new NISSEI AMERICA headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.

Details of the Merger


High-quality Japan-made injection molding machines have been widely used on the factory floors throughout the world. One of NISSEI’s management strategies is to produce and supply ideal injection molding machines to each market from the nearest production base. NISSEI has followed through on their plan and established a wholly owned production subsidiary NISSEI PLASTIC MACHINERY AMERICA INC., in San Antonio, Texas, producing mainly large-size injection molding machines.

In this merger, NISSEI AMERICA, INC. is the surviving company to absorb NISSEI PLASTIC MACHINERY AMERICA INC. Relocating NISSEI AMERICA’s headquarters to San Antonio, Texas, will allow the company to have more efficient production, sales, and financial management. Customers will benefit from NISSEI’s consolidated planning, production, management, modification, and sales of injection molding machines catered to the US market.

NISSEI operates five production bases around the globe: Japan, USA, China, Thailand, and Italy. By utilizing their quint-polar production bases, NISSEI continues to advance their plans to produce ideal machines in optimal locations, to globalize procurement, and to establish global supply chains.

Customer Support for Automotive-related Businesses


In addition, San Antonio area has a large concentration of automotive-related businesses, which are NISSEI’s primary targets in recent years. The new headquarters also includes a service center and technical center to provide utmost customer support. By utilizing the technical center in the new headquarters, NISSEI can offer technical assistance and training classes as well as host private fairs to its customers.

Utilizing its geographical advantage of being in San Antonio, the new headquarters can also supply injection molding machines to Mexico, which has a large concentration of automotive-related businesses.
