BASF at CHINAPLAS 2016: To Promote PA-based Wine Cooler and more

SHANGHAI, China -- For the first time at CHINAPLAS, BASF will showcase a prototype of the winning electronics concept bag from BASF’s 2015 “Materials Today, Innovations Tomorrow” design competition, along with a stylish wine cooler for Cinzano sparkling wine.

Designed by Alex Zhe, Design Engineer, Broadway Group, the winning electronics concept bag utilizes BASF’s high-performance materials that meet the growing market demand for products with lightweight features and new functions.

Newly created by renowned designer Ken Okuyama in collaboration with BASF’s design consultation center designfabrik®, the promotional wine cooler is made of BASF’s high-performance polyamide Ultramid®. The design is practical for production while conveying the right look, feel and perceived value of the promoted sparkling wine.

At CHINAPLAS 2016, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest designs from BASF’s design consultation center designfabrik®.
