DSM at AutoEPCON: Presented Lightweight Stanyl® PA 46 Stator Concept and more

DSM presented at the 9th Annual AutoEPCON on May 6 at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy, MI. Peter Schmieg, Senior Application Development Engineer Automotive at DSM, presented "Lightweight Stanyl® polyamide 46 Stator Concept for the Transmission Torque Converter". The paper addresses the challenges for new fuel CO2 emissions requirements, weight reduction, and performance and how DSM is at the forefront addressing these key concerns with solutions like the lightweight development of a Stanyl® polyamide46 transmission torque converter stator.
