ExxonMobil is demonstrating how its broad portfolio of high-performance polymers can help create new products that enable modern living at its Feiplastic 2019 booth (L43), Expo Center Norte, Sao Paulo, Brazil, April 22-26.
New Solutions for Recycling and Flexible Packaging
Major highlights include new products and applications that are being introduced to the Brazilian and South American market for the first time:
-
Rethink Recycle with Vistamaxx™ performance polymers which, as part of the Atando Cabos project, are compatibilizing PE and PP and turning discarded fishing ropes from the Chilean coast into high-quality end products.
- Exceed™ XP 8784 - a new performance PE polymer offering improved processability combined with extreme film toughness and sealing properties for high-performance coextrusion films used in laminated sacks, freezer films, barrier packaging and sachets.
New Polymer and Application Innovations
“
Feiplastic provides the perfect platform to introduce new polymer and application innovations to the Brazilian and South American market,” said David Hergenrether, ExxonMobil vice president, Polyethylene. “
We can easily connect with existing and new customers in the region, discuss their product challenges and explain how we can create differentiated solutions by working together.”
Visitors to Feiplastic can share their innovation ideas and goals with ExxonMobil’s polymer experts, while discovering how they can achieve extreme performance and create new possibilities in a range of applications:
- Extreme performance packaging and agricultural films using Exceed™ XP, Exceed™ and Enable™ performance PE polymers
- Polymer modification and compound innovation using Vistamaxx™ performance polymers and Oppera™ modifiers
- Durable and lightweight automotive and weatherseal parts using Santoprene™ thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV’s)
Flexible PVC flooring, wire and cable and automotive parts using Jayflex™ DINP and DIDP plasticizers which provide an optimum balance of properties with outstanding performance and permanence.
