Green Dot Bioplastics announces compostable film resins have received certification from TÜV AUSTRIA for home and industrial compostability.

Green Dot’s new, expanded Terratek
® BD line of compostable film resins offers a more sustainable alternative to traditional resins with significantly lower carbon content.
These formulations can be used as stand-alone films for Vertical Form Fill and Seal (VFFS); Horizontal Form Fill and Seal (HFFS) applications; as well as sealant webs in compostable laminations. Terratek
® BD formulations are designed for use in both blown and cast film extrusion, in addition to offering grades suitable for injection molding and profile extrusion.
