Lubrizol at Medtec Europe 2016: Shows Silicone & Thermoplastic Products for Medical Devices

CLEVELAND -- The Lubrizol Corporation’s LifeSciences business showcases its total solution capabilities at Medtec Europe 2016, Booth #5A65, April 12-14 at Messe Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany. LifeSciences also co-exhibits resins at the event with Velox GmbH, among the leading European suppliers of specialty raw materials, at Booth #3F20. Lubrizol LifeSciences is a healthcare solution partner for medical device manufacturers who need product development support and drug eluting device solutions.

LifeSciences, with the addition of Particle Sciences and Vesta capabilities, is positioned as the only healthcare product solution partner offering polymer customization, complex drug formulation and contract manufacturing solutions. LifeSciences’ offers custom medical device contract manufacturing services specializing in comprehensive silicone device fabrication along with precision thermoplastic extrusion and secondary operations. To show their commitment to the medical device market, LifeSciences is investing more than $15 million to expand its global development and manufacturing facilities, positioning Lubrizol to better serve the growing market for medical device development and contract manufacturing. This capital investment will expand multiple facilities and increase Lubrizol LifeSciences’ inhouse engineering capacity for both silicone and thermoplastic products. Part of this investment expands their thermoplastic capabilities to include: tip forming, tube flaring, pad printing, hole punching/drilling, precision cutting, reflow, braided tubing lamination and more.
