Repsol Commences New mPE Range Production for European Customers

Published on 2016-05-27. Author : SpecialChem

After becoming the first license of Chevron Phillips Chemical’s proprietary technology for production of metallocene-based polyethylene resins, Repsol has implemented this innovative technology at its plant in Tarragona, Spain.

This is a great endeavor due to the fact that this is a swing plant capable of producing both metallocene linear low density polyethylene (mLLDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE).
