Teijin Presents Aramid Fibers for Protective Clothing at INTERSCHUTZ 2015

TOKYO, Japan -- The Teijin Group, among the world-leading suppliers of high-performance fibers, announced that Teijin Limited and its Dutch subsidiary Teijin Aramid BV exhibits at INTERSCHUTZ 2015, an international trade fair for rescue, fire prevention, disaster relief products and services held at Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany from June 8 to 13.

The Teijin booth (hall 12, booth B 55) presents two type of Teijin fibers: Twaron and Technora para-aramid fibers and Teijinconex and Teijinconex neo meta-aramid fibers for protective clothing and reinforcement applications.

High-performance composite materials that offer new value are one of the four business pillars in the Transformation and Growth Strategies of Teijin’s current medium-term business plan. Promising fields for Teijin’s high-performance fibers include safety, infrastructure and energy, functional paper and filters, and mobility.
