UPM at JEC EU: Exhibits Applications of Biocomposite UPM ForMi® in Electronics, Acoustics & more

UPM Paper Company has launched last year a new material UPM ForMi®, a bio-composite where cellulose fibers replace 20% to 50% of oil-based plastics. The fibers are produced from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. UPM thus obtain a bio sourced material that allows a significant reduction of the carbon footprint of products. The used polymer is polypropylene. Robust, stiff, light, safe and with a soft and warm touch, this innovating material seduces. First applications are now out.
