POLYTROPE® STR 1042EU-01 NATURAL

POLYTROPE® STR 1042EU-01 NATURAL by LyondellBasell is a high melt thermoformable thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO or TPE-O) grade that balances impact resistance and high stiffness. It enables processors and end users to reduce product weight and improve processing efficiency without sacrificing product performance. It is economically favorable option to traditional engineered reins. It can be extruded in smooth & textured surfaces and co-extruded with a POLYTROPE® STR enhanced polyolefin cap resin to further customize its' durability, appearance and feel for interior and exterior applications. The capability of POLYSTROPE STR 1042E to provide an exceptionally smooth surface in extrusion and thermoforming makes it well suited to lamination processes with decorative films. It is also easily colored and is paintable by standard TPO paint systems. It shows good melt strength, low CLTE, good weather resistance and low temperature impact resistance. POLYTROPE® STR 1042EU-01 NATURAL is a recyclable material. It is designed for engineering plastics. It is processed by coextrusion, thermoforming, profile and sheet extrusion.
