SOFT EST.® 1170 TP by Actega (Altana) is a recyclable TPE free of heavy metals, PVC and phthalates. Suitable for injection molding of elastic parts. Prevents contamination due to its tight and leakproof seal as well as transfers by odors, flavors and materials. Used in kitchen & food articles, personal care, seals, toys, household and childcare articles. Shows low migration with non-fatty foods. It increases the shelf life, improves product perception and design through shape & color, and visual upgrade by decorative elements. It is ergonomic with non-slip, good grip properties. Complies with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR 21) “FDA” EN71-3. SOFT EST.® 1170 TP is easily colorable with masterbatches on polystyrene carrier.
