SOFT EST.® 3170 NC is a recyclable, non-slip, heavy metal-, PVC- & phthalate-free TPE by Actega (Altana). It is suitable for dishwasher, boiling water and injection molding of elastic parts. It is easily colorable with masterbatches on polypropylene carrier. Prevents contamination due to its tight and leakproof seal as well as transfers by odors, flavors and materials. Shows low migration with non-fatty foods. Used in kitchen & food articles, personal care, seals, toys, household and childcare articles. It increases the shelf life, improves product perception and design through shape & color, and visual upgrade by decorative elements. Complies with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR 21) “FDA” EN71-3. SOFT EST.® 3170 NC is an ergonomic grade with good grip properties.
