ALPHASEAL® 173

ALPHASEAL® 173 by Alphagary is a white, PVC-free, unspecified thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It adheres well to most adhesive lacquers. It possesses slightly higher pressure-retention after pasteurization than ALPHASEAL® 188D and meets B II pressure retention (7–11 Bar). It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in one-way bottles and other food contact applications. ALPHASEAL® 173 complies with FDA, BGVV and EU regulations.
