Bormed™ PL8830-PH

Bormed™ PL8830-PH by Borealis is an ethylene-based, octene-1 plastomer with high- and consistent quality. Used as a modifier in pharmaceutical film like medical fluid bags. It is used in pharmaceutical primary packaging like IV bags, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), pouch systems, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) bags, and pharmaceutical secondary packaging & bioreactors. It contains very low level of antioxidants. It offers outstanding flexibility, narrow melting ranges and high level of filler acceptance. It exhibits excellent purity and cleanliness. It provides enhanced compatibility with polypropylene (PP), easy processing, clarity and flexibility. Bormed™ PL8830-PH is developed to be used with other polyolefins in film, extrusion, and molding applications. It yields high performance, high pack integrity, reduced manufacturing costs, recyclable and enhanced sustainability. It is complaint with European, US Pharmacopeia and ISO standards.
