Texin® RxS285

Texin® RxS285 by Covestro is an aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is used in medical applications include dental ligature, tubing and luers. It exhibits biocompatibility, outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility.
  • It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
  • Texin® RxS285 meets the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 "Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices" tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less.
