Texin® RxT50D

Texin® RxT50D by Covestro is an aromatic polyether-based, hydrolytically stable thermoplastic polyurethane. It exhibits abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness, biocompatibility and flexibility. It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding.
  • It is used in anesthetic connectors, catheters, flexible tubing, film, seals & gaskets and extruded profiles.
  • Parts molded or extruded from Texin® RxT50D can be sterilized using ethylene oxide, radiation or dry heat.
  • It meets with the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 "Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices" tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less.
