Texin® RxT85A by Covestro is an aromatic polyether-based, hydrolytically stable thermoplastic polyurethane. It exhibits biocompatibility, outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness, and flexibility.
  • It is designed for anesthetic connectors, catheters, flexible tubing, film, seals and gaskets and extruded profiles.
  • It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion or blow molding.
  • Texin® RxT85A meets with the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 "Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices" tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less.
