ENGAGE™ 8200 REN

ENGAGE™ 8200 REN by Dow is ethylene-octene copolymer. It provides excellent impact properties in blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), especially in applications needing a somewhat higher melt flow, are the major attributes. It has a high capacity for filler loading, superior electrical qualities, and when cross-linked, remarkable heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance capabilities. It has excellent flow properties and is suitable for processing by compression molding. It is used in impact modification, wire and cable, and general-purpose thermoplastic elastomers. ENGAGE™ 8200 REN complies with EU No 10/2011, U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2c and ISCC PLUS certification for renewable-based plastics.
