NORDEL™ IP 3640

NORDEL™ IP 3640 by Dow is an amorphous, ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) grade with medium molecular weight distribution. It exhibits heat- & UV resistance, ultra-low gel, easy processing and exceptional uniformity. It is highly reproducible and provides predictable results & low catalyst residues for reduced scrap. NORDEL™ IP 3640 is recommended for hoses, conveyor belts, peroxide-cured building profiles (belts), truck, passenger car, ATV and blending with butyl rubber in motorcycle inner tubes. It is suitable for heat resistant peroxide cured moldings. This can be blended with butyl rubber to improve processing and vulcanizate properties of automotive & bicycle tire innertubes. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, 21 CFR 177.1520, 21 CFR 175.105 and 21 CFR 177.1210.
