SILASTIC™ MS-4002 Moldable Silicone

SILASTIC™ MS-4002 Moldable Silicone by Dow is a UL rated, medium viscosity, two-part, 1:1 ratio, fast heat curing optical molding resin. It produces optical parts with good resistance to environmental aging. This polydimethylsiloxane possesses high light transmittance, low light attenuation coefficient and excellent surface features replication. Offers smooth surface feeling, better heat and UV resistance than optical grades plastics and less yellowing than plastics. SILASTIC™ MS-4002 Moldable Silicone is recommended for injection molding of secondary optics, lenses clusters, light pipes & guides and free forms collimators.
