SILASTIC™ MS-4007 Moldable Silicone

SILASTIC™ MS-4007 Moldable Silicone by Dow is an optically clear, medium viscosity, two-part, 1:1 ratio, fast heat curing optical molding resin. This polydimethylsiloxane possesses high light transmittance, low light attenuation coefficient and excellent surface features replication. It produces optical parts with good resistance to environmental aging. SILASTIC™ MS-4007 Moldable Silicone offers better heat and UV resistance than optical grades plastics and less yellowing than plastics. It is suitable for injection molding of secondary optics such as lens, clusters, light pipes, light guides and free forms collimators.
