Hytrel® DYM250S BK472 by Celanese is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyester elastomer and polybutylene terephthalate blend. It is light-, heat- and U.V. stabilized and contains fine particle size carbon black. Possesses good melt stability, excellent toughness, resilience, high resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperatures and good retention of properties at elevated temperatures. Provides resistance to industrial chemicals, oils and solvents. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Mostly used in air bag deployment doors. Hytrel® DYM250S BK472 is applicable for automotive, fluid power, electrical/electronic, consumer goods, appliance and power tool, sporting goods, furniture, industrial and off-road transportation/equipment industry.
