Technical Datasheet | Supplied by DuPont
MULTIFLEX™ TES A5002 TTA 1 TRANS by DuPont is a recyclable, general purpose thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Contains anti-blocking additive for polyethylene (PE) film extrusion, anti-slip, processing aid, anti-fibrillation additive for polypropylene (PP) yarn extrusion and weaving, stiffening agent for polypropylene (PP) films and plaques. Is a soft touch, easy to color, halogen free, oxygen scavenger, breathable, heat weldable (corners), and heat stabilized grade. Possesses transparency, lower coefficient of friction, excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperature (>90°C), hydrocarbon- , chemical- , tear- , heat- , scratch- , mar- and fluid resistance, low taste, odor and extractables. Shows spinning cycle up to 1600 rpm, improves mold filling, reduces cycle time, durability, good desiccant- and peel properties. Provides lower extruder torque, improved thermal insulation, impact protection, noise and vibration dampening, low and high temperature flexibility. Designed for injection molding method. Possible applications of MULTIFLEX™ TES A5002 TTA 1 TRANS are health, personal care, houseware, portable electronics, hand & power tools, sports and leisure. Can also be used for electrical protection, wire and cable, packaging, window seals & gaskets, fluid and product delivery.
