SANTOPRENE™ 241-80W236 by Celanese is a polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade with a stabilization system for protection against copper and other metal-catalyzed degradation. It is soft, colorable and recyclable within the manufacturing stream. It is shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by co-extrusion, extrusion blow molding, profile & sheet extrusion, thermoforming, vacuum forming, multi injection-, blow- and injection molding. Used in tubing, plumbing parts like potable water seals and gaskets. Designed for use in plumbing applications in contact with potable water.
