SANTOPRENE™ 8281-45MED by Celanese is a specialty polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is soft, non-hygroscopic and colorable resin. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by injection- and multi-injection molding. Designed for use in medical and healthcare applications including soft touch grips, seals and gaskets. SANTOPRENE™ 8281-45MED complies with RoHS and meets the USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia) Class VI requirements for plastics.
