SANTOPRENE™ 8291-85TL by Celanese is a hard, specialty and colorable polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is specially formulated to create multilayer constructions offering bonding to textiles, metals, fluoroelastomers, PAs. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by coextrusion and profile extrusion. Used in automotive applications like weather seals, hose, metal bonding, profiles, tie-layer and consumer applications. SANTOPRENE™ 8291-85TL complies with RoHS.
