Terratek® FX1604

Terratek® FX1604 by Green Dot Bioplastics is a proprietary blend of natural and synthetic biodegradable polyesters. It is suitable for injection molding. It is made from polymers which pass industry standards for industrial composting. It is a flexible, strong, starch-based elastomeric material. It possesses durability, pliability and strength. It is formulated to be incredibly resilient, and they are able to return to their original shape after significant stretching. It offers soft touch, good resistance to both high and low temperatures. It can be completely composted once it has reached the end of its useful life. It is processed by injection molding. It is used in automotive industry as puncture-resistant seals, to absorb impact in interior application and as protection for wire and cables. Also, used in soles of footwear, toys, home cookware and packing. Terratek® FX1604 has 20% by weight biomass content.
