Mediprene® 520621M

Mediprene® 500621M by Hexpol is a biocompatible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) containing SEBS rubber, paraffinic oil and polypropylene. It is free from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), silicon and latex. Exhibits flexibility, elasticity, colorability, soft-touch, short cycle times, resistance to weather, chemicals and fluids used in healthcare environment. It adheres to polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) without modifying overmolding and coextrusion processes and it is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Recommended applications include face masks, incontinence care products, connectors, IV systems, intubation equipment, seals, resealable membranes, drip chambers, wound care products, tubing, medical packaging and soft touch grips on medical devices. Mediprene® 500621M complies with biocompatibility according to USP Class VI, FDA 21CFR, 2002/72/EC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 regulations.
