AVALON® 90 AB

AVALON® 90 AB by Huntsman TPU is a halogen-, phthalate free and recyclable polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. It is used in footwear applications like outsoles, slippers, unit-soles, top-pieces and kippers, sport and outdoor applications like sports plates, studs and cleats, eyelets, shanks, decorative parts, air bags, stabilizer and components. Provides high elasticity, resilience to oils, greases and numerous solvents, good flexibility over a wide temperature range, easy reliable bonding and colorability. Shows superior bonding to polyurethane (PU), flex performance and easy processing with consistent quality. Exhibits outstanding abrasion-, excellent slip- and oil resistance. Possesses matt/ shiny appearance and perfect surface definition. It is suitable for processing by injection molding with fast cycle times. AVALON® 90 AB is a RoHS and REACH compliant grade.
