KRATON® D1173 BT

KRATON® D1173 BT by KRATON is a clear white, general purpose, linear, block copolymer based on styrene and isoprene (SIS) with a polystyrene content of 18%. Exhibits insolubility in water, high strength, good heat sealability, easy processing and low viscosity. It is essentially odorless and available in South America as a porous pellet dusted with talc. Is suitable for processing by compression molding and cast film extrusion. Used as a base material for hot melt adhesives & for compound formulations and as a modifier for bitumen. Possible applications include general consumer and industry applications.
