Tecothane™ TT-6385A

Tecothane™ TT-6385A by Lubrizol is a flame retarded thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) grade. Is suitable for extrusion and injection molding applications. Exhibits good chemical resistance, durability and variety of end-effect properties such as matte finish, soft feel, low dust and consistent quality. Provides different advantages including biocompatibility data, change notification management, record retention, regulatory and product compliance support. Shows the ability to withstand repeated high heat and harsh chemical sterilization cycles without breaking down. This medical-grade TPU is used in equipment that has direct contact with electronic connections such as touch screen monitors, pressure cuffs, EKG cables and sensor cables. Complies with biocompatibility testing as per ISO-10993-1 guidelines and is non-cytotoxic as per ISO 10993-5 test requirements.
