Hifax CA 7271 A is a water insoluble, natural colored polypropylene based thermoplastic polyolefin resin manufactured using LyondellBasell’s proprietary Catalloy process technology. Provides good dimensional stability, high flow, medium rigidity, low shrinkage, high melt flow rate with good impact/stiffness balance and exhibits good impact resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion compounding and injection molding. Recommended for polymer modification and automotive bumper & exterior applications. Complies with EU 1935/2004/EC (framework regulation), EU 2023/2006/EC (GMP), EU 10/2011/EC (PIM), US CONEG Model Legislation for heavy metals, EU Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC, End of Life Vehicle directive 2000/53/EC, RoHS directive 2002/95/EC & 2011/65/EU and meets the FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1520.
