TAFMER™ XM-5080S

TAFMER™ XM-5080S is a specialty, propylene based α-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade by Mitsui Chemicals. Exhibits improved mechanical properties, low melting point and low heat seal initiation temperature (HSIT). Provides low crystallinity, transparency and miscibility with PP. Is odorless and insoluble in water. TAFMER™ XM-5080S is suitable for processing by bi-axial orientation (BOPP) extrusion. Used in packaging. Meets FDA title 21, parts 170 to 189, FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
