RTP 1500-55D

RTP 1500-55D is a polyether-ester block copolymer (TEEE/COPE) grade. Exhibits slip resistance, shock absorption, ergonomic comfort, soft texture, excellent heat resistance, very good hydrocarbon resistance (grease & oil), high tensile strength, excellent wear properties, exceptional toughness, impact resistance, load bearing capacity, low temperature flexibility, excellent flex memory and flex fatigue. Shows good chemical resistance to non-halogenated solvents, oils and greases, even at elevated temperatures. Moreover, it can work in a wide temperature range. It’s creep resistance and resilience makes it suitable for dynamic applications. Applications include gaskets, seals, stoppers, housings, rollers, valves, bumpers, wheels, pads, casters, strain reliefs, cable jacketing, switch contact points, bellows, fuel line covers, housings, shoe soles/ heels, wrist straps, cushions, airbag doors, keycaps, cosmetic cases, handles, grips, pushbuttons and knobs. RTP 1500-55D is also suitable for industrial applications including tool grip, housing overmold, mandrels for hose production, seals for pumping & dispensing systems, grommets and mounting pads for vibration dampening.
