Gallonprene® GP440-5005/5505

Gallonprene® GP440-5005/5505 is a white colored, low cost, lightly foamed, heavy metal-free styrene butadiene styrene copolymer [SBS] grade with limited UV resistance. Has vibration dampening properties and can be painted / printed using solvent-free paints, similar to polystyrene paints. It contains a foaming agent(0.3%) dusted on the SBS pellets. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Applications include toys, footwear and cutlery handles. Gallonprene® GP440-5005/5505 is made under good manufacturing practice guidelines for the plastic food packaging supply chain as published by the American SPI in Jan 2012. Complies with FDA §177.2600 for use of rubber in repeated contact with dry as well as aqueous food (provision e) and toy standards such as EN71, ISO-8124, ASTM-F963 & Japanese toys safety standard.
