Laprene® 83FE00864 by SO.F.TER. (Celanese) is an easy to use, saturated (double bonds-free), recyclable SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene)-based TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) grade containing polyolefinic component. It exhibits resistance to weathering agents and UV aging. It can be processed using blown film extrusion into an extremely thin sheet, with thickness up to 50 microns. Moreover, it can be co-extruded with other polyolefins such as polyethylene (PE) for the production of multi-layer films. It is suitable for the production of elastic films characterized by excellent softness & transparency, optimal elastic recovery and high tear resistance. Laprene® 83FE00864 is ideal for applications in the food and paramedical sectors including personal hygiene products, such as senior and baby diapers.
