Forprene® NEUTRO 6SD001A75

Forprene® NEUTRO 6SD001A75 is a natural colored translucent thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is made of an elastomeric phase (dynamically vulcanized EPDM) which is deeply dispersed in a polyolefinic thermoplastic matrix. Exhibits excellent UV aging-, ozone-, weathering-, chemical (such as bases, acids, alcohols, detergents, water solutions, solvents)-, fatigue- and abrasion resistance. Possesses recyclability, rubber-like specifications such as elastic recovery (within a wide temperature range) & softness, hardness and high thermal & electrical insulation. Offers excellent processability, colorability and specific rheological properties. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive applications such as air ducts, pipe grommets, weatherseals, glass encapsulation, belt line seals, air vents, buttons, mats & suspension bellows, and building applications such as extruded seals for doors and windows & simple or co-moulded hydraulic seals. Other applications include household appliances like anti-vibration mounts, inlet pipes and exhaust manifolds, seals, drum suspension bushes & shock absorbers, tools like handles & grips, electrical equipment including sheaths for condensers, plugs and loose sockets, special cables requiring good electrical insulation properties, UV-resistance, good thermal resistance and low specific gravity, and wheels, drive belts, high/low pressure pipes, mats for motor scooters & O-rings. Is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH).
