SOFPRENE® NEUTRO 540200A65

SOFPRENE® NEUTRO 540200A65 is a styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) compound. Offers excellent elastic properties, recyclability and maintains its flexibility even at very low temperatures (-50°C). The unsaturated nature of the SBS rubber makes it vulnerable to UV rays, heat and ozone. It is possible to improve its resistance by using appropriate additives and can be easily processed by means of the traditional technologies used for thermoplastic materials. Exhibits good abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to several chemical agents, i.e. bases, acids, alcohols, detergents, water solutions. Shows high thermal-, electric insulation values and excellent colorability. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Potential applications include furniture like shock-absorbers for bed slats, wheels, anti-shock profiles, household goods like non-slip mats, handles for tools, overmolded rubber lips for dustpan and squeegees and plungers, toys like wheels, handles, seats and agriculture like gaskets for drip devices. Is a REACH compliant grade with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
