Medalist® MD-23133

Medalist® MD-23133 by Teknor Apex is an opaque, phthalates-, DEHP-, latex- and BPA-free thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) elastomer grade. It is compatible with ethylene oxide sterilization. Exhibits high fatigue resistance, stability at high temperatures, and chemical resistance. It is designed to replace thermoset rubber, with excellent sealing properties including low long-term compression set and elastic stability. It is non-hygroscopic and its light natural color provides improved colorability versus standard TPVs. It is well-suited for small and high-precision parts using complex multi-cavity tools. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and overmolding. Recommended for health care industry in applications such as o-rings, seals and gaskets, valves, diaphragms and other components used in the manufacture of medical devices. Medalist® MD-23133 is made with FDA-compliant ingredients and complies with ISO 10993-5 & REACH SVHC.
