Telcar® TL-1137

Telcar® TL-1137 by Teknor Apex is a translucent, general purpose, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is used in automotive interior and exterior parts like trim, weather-stripping, grommets and blow molding applications. It provides good processability, faster output, lower cost and recyclability. It offers excellent thermal performance in harsh environments (including acids, bases and chlorine), excellent resiliency and ductility. It exhibits good mechanical properties, surface haptics and feel like rubber. It has a long life in exterior, high UV and ozone weathering applications. It possesses elastomeric properties of vulcanized rubber and yet can be melt-processed and easily fabricated. Telcar® TL-1137 can be processed by extrusion and injection molding.
