Telcar® TL-2448G

Telcar® TL-2448G by Teknor Apex is an opaque, general purpose, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. It exhibits good mechanical properties, surface haptics & feel like rubber and excellent thermal performance in harsh environments (including acids, bases and chlorine). It offers excellent resiliency, ductility and a long life in exterior, high UV and ozone weathering applications. It possesses elastomeric properties of vulcanized rubber and yet can be melt-processed and easily fabricated. It provides good processability, faster output, lower cost and recyclability. Telcar® TL-2448G is used in grommets, weatherstripping, automotive interior & exterior parts like trims and in blow molding applications.
